How to make a new preset in Adobe Premiere Pro?
The process to create new preset is simple and takes a few minutes only.
What are presets in Premiere Pro?
Presets are time saver. They have inbuilt effects and styles which we can directly apply to the clips on timeline. There are many default presets in Premiere Pro and lot more are available to add from internet.
But we can also create our own preset. Making preset will help us to apply same type of effects, transitions or style on other projects too. Means, no need to do same editing from scratch.
Steps to create new preset in Premiere Pro:
1. Firstly make a new sequence. Go to file menu or press CTRL + N.
2. Import videos and drag them on timeline.
3. Now go to Effects panel and open and drag effects on videos as shown in the image below.
4. Then open Effects control and adjust key frame, color, and other settings.
5. Now, select effects and right click and save preset, enter name you want to give it new preset and select OK.
And, you are done. So, simple, isn’t it?
